Careers Week Learning Intentions:
•Reflect upon the work experience week and
evaluate its impact upon study and career choices
•Identify personal skills, attributes,
interests etc. and link these to potential careers
•Develop an understanding of QCAA’s Senior
Schooling system
•Build students’ understandings of the
senior subjects on offer at SJFC
•Create a resume and cover letter in
response to a particular position
•Develop interview skills and use these in
a mock interview
•Expose students to a variety of
post-schooling options, e.g. workforce, apprenticeship, university, TAFE etc.
•Create an online Blog which documents the
learnings of the week
